The Life of Paul Delfs Jensen

Paul D. Jensen, 83, of Clinton, Missouri, died Friday, March 6, 2009 at the Bothwell Regional Health Center. 

He was born March 28, 1925 in Rudkobing, Denmark, the son of Jens Peder Jensen and Elizabeth (Delfs) Jensen. On July 26, 1947, in Rudkobing, Paul married Iris Stordal and she survives of the home. 

Paul graduated from the University of Denmark with a degree in engineering. He worked for several companies including, Westinghouse; Porter Cable, and Rival Manufacturing where was a manager and, later, vice-president. He then became the owner of ABM Industries, in Sedalia, working for twenty years before retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Lutheran faith; the Shriners; and the Elks Lodge. 

In addition to his wife, Iris, survivors include three daughters, Annette Anderson, Olathe, Kansas; Liza Staires and her husband Clay, Avant, Oklahoma; Eva Jensen, of the home; six grand-children, Meagan; Gabriel; Becky; and Nathan all of Olathe, Ks; Clare and Madison, Avant, Ok.; ten great-grand-children, Josia; Mia; Caleb; Samuel; Daniel; Paul; Sophia; Isaac; Noah; and Isabelle. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Einar Delfs Jensen and Axel Delfs Jensen. 

Memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton.
