MRS. FRANCES FERREL

 

Mrs. Frances Ferrel, 77 years old, died at the home of her son, Hugh Ferrel, 1414 Brooklyn Avenue. 

 

Mrs. Ferrel had been a resident of Kansas City seven years and was formerly of Olathe, Kansas. She is survived by two sons, Hugh Ferrel and Louis Ferrel of DeQueen, Ark. 

 

Mrs. Ferrel was born in Covington, Ky., February 12th, 1838, was married to Jackson Ferrel in May 1873, and moved to Stanley, Kansas in 1885 where she lived until the death of Mr. Ferrel, who was a prominent Olathe Attorney and at one time city engineer, in 1900.

 

Mrs. Ferrel has lived with her son in Kansas City the last few years where she died Thursday, November 11th, 1915 and was burried in Olathe last Saturday, November 13th. She has been a member of the Christian church from early girlhood.
