The Life of Adaline Emmes

Died -  April 9th 1893, Mrs. Adoline Emmes aged 81 years, and 17 days. The funeial services took place at the residence of the deceased's son-in-law Mr. A G. Newton, in Olathe April 10, The funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. V. Stout pastor of the Presbyterian church, after which her remains were burried In the Olathe Cemetery. Mrs. Emmes' late home was in Grand Rapids, Wisconsin, and she has been In feeble health for some time. A few weeks ago her daughter Mrs. A. G. Newton went to Wisconsin to be with her, and,  as a result  brought her to Olathe, so that she have her under her own charge, She stood the trip well and was improving  until Sunday morning she took suddenly worse aud expired before they could realize her condition. Mr. and Mrs. Newton have the sympaathy of their numerous friends in their sad bereavement.

Mrs. Adeline Emmes, aged 81 years, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. A. G. Newton, on South Water street Sunday morning, April 9th The funeral services were held at tbe residence, conducted by Rev. A. V Stout. The deceased was brought from Wisconsin by Mrs. Newton only a week or so before her death, though quite feeble at the time. She died from a complication of complaints incident to old age.
