The Life of Grace Grover

"Shall I have naught that is fair saith He, have naught but the bearded grain?
So, the reaper came again with his sickle and among the thorns and thistles of care and responsibility in the hearts of the parents, has mowed down a fair flower growing there in beauty and joy.
Miss Grace Grover, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Grover, after only a few days illness, died at her home in Olathe Saturday, August 18, and was buried Monday. The funeral was held in the Congregational church, conducted by Rev. D.R. Steiner.
Only twenty-three, with life just unfolding its joys, within a few weeks of her wedding day, yet death came for her and would not be refused. Fair young bride, clothed in thy wedding garments, the "Bridegroom" awaits and the soft glow which presages the sunset of life is but the rosy gleams of the sunrise of the eternal day where the voice of the "bride and bridegroom" will blend together in singing the new song of Moses and the Lamb.
