BABY CALLED FROM EARTH.

The little son, eleven months old of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Fort, died at the home of the parents on East Loula street Sunday morning after a very brief illness with summer complaint. The funeral services was conducted lrom the residence Monday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. H. 0. Holter officiating

"This lovely bud, so young, so fair,

Called hence bv earlv doom. . .

Just come to show how sweet a flower

In paradise could bloom.

"Ere sin could harm or sorrow fade,

Death came with friendly care

The opening bud to Heaven conveyed

And bade it blossom there."
