Died, in this city on Tuesday morning, October 27th, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Ewing, wife of Mr. John Ewing. aged fifty years. Mrs. Ewing was sick with typhoid fever for seven weeks. At times she seemed to be on the road to final recovery but the hopes of the family and friends were as frequently blasted by the many relapses which occurred during that time. The death ef Mrs. Ewing is far more than a family affliction. She was known and loved by a large circle of friends who sorely feel the great loss which has been sustained by this city and the neighborhood in which the family resided before coming to Olathe. Her remains were desposited in the city cemetery on Tuesday afternoon, a large number of sympathising friends attending.
