Died, May 9, 1897,of la grippe, Charles W. Ekengren, aged sixty-six years, one month and twenty-eight days. Mr. Ekengren has been a resident of Olathe since 1850. He served during the war as a member of the Second Kansas cavalry. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. D. R. Steiner Monday, May 10, and his remains were intered in the Olathe cemetery. The family have a host of friends who will sympathize with them is their sad bereavement
