The Life of Frank Cecil Efinger

Death of Mr. Frank Efinger

The death of Frank Efinger occurred at his home, six miles southwest of Olathe, Friday, Dec. 24, 1920, after an illness of six months, at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 16 days.

Mr. Efinger was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Efinger and was born in Rock Island, Ills.,  February 8, 1860. At the age of seven years he came with his parents to Johnson County.

He was united in marriage to Miss Dodie Rose of Watova, Okla., December 19, 1900.

He is the father of seven children, six of whom, with his wife, survive him; also aged mother, two brothers, one sister, four grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

He has lived his entire life in Johnson county, excepting six years he spent in Tribune, Kan. He had always lived a Christian life and was a kind and loving husband and father.

Frank was one of the best known and most highly respected men in the west half of the county, which was always his home.

His wit, friendliness and never failing good humor made him extremely popular. No one would accommodate a friend quicker than he – no matter how inconvenienced himself by doing so.
