Andrew Harvey Giffin, son of Thomas and Margaret Giffin, was born at Claysville, Ohio, August 15, 1864.; He moved to Johnson County Kansas, with his parents in 1866, locating at Ocheltree. He moved to his present home five miles Southeast of Olathe in 1877, where he has resided ever since.; He was married to Miss Pearl Cowden April 5, 1906.; He joined the United Presbyterian church at Olathe in 1884 when a young man 20 years of age.; He passed away October 29, at 9 p.m. at his home 5 miles southeast of Olathe.; He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of the home address, six nephews; C.L. Martin of Kansas City, MO.; Earl Martin of Ft. Scott, Kansas; Giffin Roe, Will Roe, Roscoe Roe, Dick Roe, of Olathe, Kansas; and two nieces, Mrs. Margaret McCabe, of Fulton, Kansas, and Mrs. Lucy Brunk of Olathe, Kansas.; Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Presbyterian church, Rev. F. C. Everitt officiating. Burial will be in Olathe Cemetery, in charge of the H.E. Julien Undertaking Company.
