Obituary. -
Goldie Lillian Burgess,  daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Burgess, died March 15th, 1886, aged seven years and one month.
Little Goldie was a great sufferer  during the last year of her life. Naturally precocious and spiritual, she early thought beyond her years and showed a christian spirit of affection and gentleness. Toward the close of her life her thoughts were much about death and Heaven. She repeatedly expressed the desire to go and often asked that her favorite hymms mignt be sung. Her two chief favorites were "Sweet Bye and-bye" and "I'm a Pilgrim and a Stranger." So the delicate plants of our Heavenly Father are rapidly ripened through experience of pain for the Gardens of the Lord where the harsh winds never blow and the fair plants never fade.
Mr. and Mrs. Burgess have the kind sympathy of a large circle of friends.
