The Life of Maggie Cooper

DEATH OF MRS. MAGGIE COOPER

Died Suddenly at Home of Daughter in Omaha.

Last Thursday Ernest Cooper received a telegram from his sister, Mrs. Anna Upton of Omaha, Nebraska, stating that his mother, Mrs. Maggie Elizabeth Cooper, had just died at her home. The body was brought here Friday and at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Methodist Church the funeral service service was held. The burial was in the 'Olathe Cemetery.

Although owning a fine home on West Loula Street, where she lived for some time, Mrs. Cooper much preferred to live with her children, so most of her time was spent visiting among them. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Methodist Church sand as far as she was physically able could always be depended upon to do her share. She was indeed a good woman, highly esteemed by all her acquaintances and she will be missed greatly.

She is survived by two sons, Ernest of Olathe, and Will of Cherokee, Kansas, and three daughters, Mrs. Anna Upton of Omaha, Mrs. Fred Rhine of Manhattan and Mrs. Blanche Lawton of Valpariso, Nebraska, all of whom were present at the funeral except Mrs. Upton.
