The funeral services were held in the Methodist church, at 1 o'clock P. M., Wednesday 24th. It is with sincere regret that we publish the above anouncement. Mr. Cochran with his family moved to this city in the spring of 1869, and can be classed among the list of Old Settlers, among our citizens, he occupied the position of an energetic public spirited business man. He builded his monument while living, in the shape of public buildings, public enterprises and good works, and though his allotted time of three score years and ten had nearly expired. His loss will be deeply mourned by all.
