DEATH OF G. L. COLLINS.
 
Mr. Geo. L. Collins , who lived eight miles northwest of Olathe, died at his home Sunday morning, May 17th. Mr. Collins was eighty-two years of age and has been gradually sinking for several months. He died in his chair and without the least struggle. Mr. Collins has been very active in the work of the Grange and is one of the oldest residents of the county, coming here in 1855. He leaves a wife, two sons, Dudle and Kenneth, and a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Holmquist, who all live close to the home place. The funeral services were held at one-thirty o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Steiner officiating and interment made in Olathe cemetery.
