MRS. BUCHANNAN DEAD

Mrs. I. O. Buchannan of Kewanee, Illinois, died at 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon, February 22, at the home of W. F. Baker in this city. The deceased was the mother of Mrs. J. H. Whitaker very recently of Kewanee, but now of Spring Hill vicinity. She had been in poor health for the last four years. She with her daughter and family were moving from Illinois to the Dr. Greene farm west of Spring Hill. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Whitaker; a son, J. W. Buchannan, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and a brother at Appleton City, Mo. She has been a Christian for the last thirty years; a kind and loving mother, and her death is mourned by a large circle of friends at her former home in Illinois. She was born in Cincinnati, July 4th, 1852, being sixty years and about eight months old at the time of her death.
