MRS. SUE E. BROWN

 

Mrs. Sue E. Brown died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 0. H. Tilford, 231 South Kansas Avenue, on Monday, December 20, 1915, at the age of 78 years. Mrs. Brown was born in Kentucky April 9, 1837, where she passed her early years and was married. She came to Olathe with her husband in 1858 and this has since been her home.

 

Upon the death of her hus band nine years ago she went to make her home with the daughter, with whom she lived until her death. She is survived by a son, Jim Brown, of Olathe, and two daughters, Mrs. Til-ord and Mrs. F. C. Pratt of Kansas City. She was a faithful member of the Christian church. The funeral services were conducted from thje Tilford residence at two 0'clock Wednesday afternoon, December 22, Rev. W. A. Nance officiating, and internment made in the Olathe cemetery.
