DEATH OF G. W. BROOKS.

G. W. Brooks was born at Newark, Lincoln County, Ohio, October 17th, 1846. He was 69 years, 5 months and 26 days old. March 19th, 1866 he was united in marriage to Sarah Jane Meeker. To this union 4 children were born: William Brooks of Olathe, Thomas Brooks of LaCygne, Mrs. Olive Shetterly of LaCygne and Mrs. Mary Gillihan of Olathe. These four children and a number of grand children, and one sister, Mrs. D, C. Miller of Marion, Kansas, are the near relatives who survive to mourn the loss of a brother, father and grandfather, whose precious memory they will always hold dear.
