Margaret JoAnn Gabehart, 69, of Olathe, Kansas went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 30, 2015. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met.

JoAnn was born on January 3, 1946 at home in Adair County, Kentucky to Marshall C. and Thelma Jean (Raney) Sherrill. She attended and graduated from Adair County High School. She was a dedicated member of Westside Nazarene Church.

She married the love of her life Boyce R. Gabehart Sr. on January 3, 1964. Through this union three children were born: Boyce Jr., Anisa and Kristina. The times she spent with her family were her most favorite. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall C. and Thelma Jean Sherrill and brother Danny K. Sherrill. Survivors include her husband of 51 years Boyce R. Gabehart Sr. of the home, son Boyce R. Gabehart Jr. and his wife Tammie of Raymore, Missouri, two daughters, Anisa G. Towner and her husband Rick of Olathe, Kansas and Kristina J. Gabehart of Memphis, Tennessee. Left behind to cherish her memory are her three grandchildren, Amie L. Maguire and her husband Jason, Matthew C. Baker and Autumn R. Gabehart. She will be sadly missed by her three great grandchildren, Jordan R. Maguire, Emilie R. Gabehart and Blade A. Baker. JoAnn is also survived by her brothers, Marshall J. Sherrill, Larry M. Sherrill, James W. Sherrill (Debby), Marshall N. Sherrill (Vicki) and sister Lydia M. Sherrill along with a host of other family members and friends.
