Died, at her home near Craig, Kansas on Sunday, February 14, Mrs. Jensie R. Deckman, aged 54 years. The direct cause of death was pneumonia, but the deceased suffered a stroke of paralysis, three years ago from which she never recovered.

Mrs. Deckman was a daughter of John Mardis of Stanley, and well known to a large number of Johnson county people. A husband survives her. The funeral services were held from the Baptist church in Olathe, Tuesday, and interment was made in Olathe cemetery.
