The Life of LaRue O Hinton

Death of L.O. Hinton
 L. O. Hinton was born Sept. 6ith, 1888, at Maywood, Jackson county, Kansas. His mother died at Denver, Colorado, Sept. 16th, 1895. Then the father and two children went to West Virginia. Later upon the death of the father the daughter and later the son, came to live with their Grandfather, T. W. Noland.

Mr. Hinton lost his hand in a saw mill when he was but a youth and this led him to take up telegraphy in which he be came quite proficient. This was his work at the time of his death, which came as an accident, which fractured his skull. This accident occurred on the down town streets of Butte, Montana. He wore a hook on the arm without a hand and it is supposed he slipped and fell on the hook fracturing his skull back of the ear. He was twenty-five years of age. Mrs. Henry Leslie of this city is the only member of the family remaining.

The body was sent to Olathe for burial and the funeral was held in the Julien undertaking parlors at ten o'clock Friday morning, the Rev. C. B. Zook officiating. Burial was made in Olathe cemetery. The bereaved sister and grandparents have the sympathy of their many friends
