L. C. Kitchen died in Kansas City, of heart disease, on Tuesday, September 24, and was buried in Olathe Cemetery last Thursday forenoon, several old friends ot the family from Olathe. and relatives of the family from Kansas City, Chicago and elsewhere, following the remains to the grave from the Southern Kansas depot. Mr. Kitchen spent a good portion of his boyhood days in Olathe, and was well known to many of the older residents of the city. He was born in Hardy county, Virginia, and was 37 years of age at the time of his death.
