The Life of Cora B Henry

Henry - At her late residence in Olathe, at 8 o'clock a. m., Oct. 8th, 1886, Mrs. Cora B. Henry, aged 24 years, 7 months and 4 days.
The morning was bright and beautiful as the young life closed and when her spirit wafted its way to the Being who it an eartniy existence, and sad were the many tears shed by her numerous  friends gathered at the final cermony over her remains.  The Rev. Mr. Hill,  only a few short years before, had joined together, as man and wife, the grief stricken husband and the happy,  joyous young lady whose lifeless body now lay still in death, officiated most appropriately. He read most impressively the burial services of the Methodist Episcopal Church, after which he made some feeling remarks about the former ceremony and the uncertainty of all earthly life.
A large circle of friends went with the remains to the cemetery, where the beautiful casket containing all that was mortal of the young wife and mother was lowered to its final resting place. The bereaved husband had the deepest sympathy of every heart as he took the last earthly view of his departed wife whose memory will always occupy a bright place in his heart amid the toils and cares of his future life.
