George was born June 20, 1869 to Benjamin McKEE (b. 1837 PA son of Samuel and Matilda of Ireland) and Sarah E. McDONALD (b. 1842 Ill later married John A. ALEXANDER). His siblings were, at least, Samuel Gaston (1860-1905), Harry Gilbert (1862-1953, married Edith living in KC, MO), and Lilly Mae 1867 (marr. David S. THOMPSON of Bonner Springs, KS). George married #1 Julia NELSON on 5-30-1895 Johnson County, KS and had children Sarah E. 1896 and Howard N. 1899. He then married #2 Mary Catherine (?, born 1884 IA, had a daughter Eva June that was born 1908 and married TANQUARY). They had children, at least, Velma Ruth 1902 and Robert J. 1918.
