Shirley Ann White Messerschmidt, 71, passed away Tuesday morning, May 26, 2015 in Gardner, Kansas. Funeral services will be at 10am Monday, June 1, 2015 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula St., Olathe, KS, with burial following at Olathe Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4pm., Sunday, May 31st at the funeral home. Shirley was born on January 20, 1944 in San Francisco, California, the child of Mildred B. Ellis and Raymond Woodrow White. She married Delbert William Messerschmidt on June 2, 1962, in Emporia, Kansas. Shirley previously worked as a cashier at Price Chopper before retiring.
