Death of Isaac Lawson.

Mr. Isaac Lawson was born September 18, 1853, near Nashville, Tenn., and when 12 years of age he moved with his parents to Bourbon county, Kentucky, where, on February 25, 1874 he was married to Miss Nannie E. Laughlin. After living there three years they moved to

Mr. Lawson identified himself with the Christian church in Kentucky in 1875, and has continued his membership with that church until his death. Mr. Lawson has had poor health for over fourteen years. After leaving the farm on account of his health, he and family moved to Olathe.

Ten children were born to this union, three dying in infancy and seven living until they were grown. One daughter, Mrs. Anna E. Shelton died June 26, 1911. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Nannie E. Lawson, five sons and one daughter, W. R. Lawson, Olathe Kan., F.L. Lawson, Harrisonville, J.E. Lawson, Olathe, G.A. Lawson,Pomeroy, Washington, W.E. Lawson, Olathe, and Mrs. Ella M. Prather of Lincoln, Nebr., one brother J. S. Lawson, of New Santa Fe, Mo., and three sisters, Mrs. Manda J. Garter of Coleman Mo., Mrs. Nannie Westhoff, new Santa Fe, Mo., and Mrs. Lizzie Reid of North Middletown, Kentucky.

He was kindly. upright and honorable in all his dealings, a good man in every way. Friends far and near extend sympathy to those who mourn the death of an exemplary husband and good father.
