Died, Friday morning, May 13, at 3 o'clock, Loren, McFarland Pickering, aged five years. This is one of the saddest deaths that has been chronicled in the columns of the Mirror in a number of years. Little Loren was five years old, the pride and joy of his parents and a great favorite with all who knew him. His death was most unexpected, and proved a staggering blow to the parents, to whom the sincere sympathy of a host of friends is extended. The funeral of little Loren occurred, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Rev. Goudy officiating.
