The Life of Laura Virginia White

MRS. LAURA B. WHITE.

Mrs. Laura B. White, whose death occurred Monday, May" 3, in Denver, at the homeof her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Nolan, was bom in St. Louis, March 3, 1837, where she lived until 17 years of age, when in November, she was married to Mr. George White.

 In the early part of the year ''56, they moved to Leavenworth where Mr. White engaged in the mercantile business, but in the fall of ''56 they came to Johnson county and homesteaded that good quarter section two miles southwest of Olathe, now owned by E. E. Van Tries. Here all their children were born and ralsed and in 1905 they moved to Olathe.

Since Mr. Wwhite''s death on October 19, 1914, Mrs. White had spent several months with her daughter, Mrs. Hattie Berry, in Los Angeles, coming to Denver only a short time ago, where she expected to spend the summer. She is survived by H.B. White, Olathe; E.C. White. Buhl, Idaho;: Charles A Ellensburg, Wash.; Mrs. W.H. Nolan,,Denver; S.C., Kansas City; Johnny, Pittsburg; and Mrs. Hattie Berry, Los Angeles. The three children dead are S.F., Mrs.Hunter and Mrs. Nellie Wright.
