The Life of Lee A Williams

Lee A Williams, 72, of Olathe passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. He was born May 9, 1940 to Rex W. Williams and Edith Mary (Clark) of Olathe Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Olathe Memorial Cemetery.

Lee was educated in Olathe. About the age of 18, he proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy serving into 1962. He worked as a meat cutter in the KC area and later worked as a sales rep for Proctor & Gamble in Nebraska. He came back to KC and worked in the food service industry supplying meat cut to order. He worked for several places, in particular, Jess and Jim’s in Martin City, MO. The last twenty plus years of his working career was driving a “Big Rig” coast to coast. His favorite activities were roaming in the woods, camping, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; sons, Kevin Lee of Beaverton, OR. and Scott Brian of Hannibal, MO; daughter, Lisa Williams of Belize; siblings, Mary Long of Jacksonville, FL, Robert and Davene McBride of Olathe and Frank Williams of Gardner, KS; three uncles, Russell and Lois Williams of Newton, KS , Max Williams of Kansas City, KS and Everett and Lee Nell Moody of Olathe, KS.
