Olathe, Kas., July 25 - Mrs. Maud H. Black, 88 years old, Olathe, died at her home here today. She was one of Johnson County's pioneer citizens, coming to Kansas from Sideny, O., in 1869. She was the widow of George Black, well known as one of the organizers of the Grange in this county.

Mrs. Black is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dan T. Park, of the home and a grandson, Dean Park, Chicago. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church of Olathe.
