While on his way from Ottawa to Kansas City last week Wm. Baxter, an old Olathe resident,, stopped off here to look after some business matters and was suddenly overtaken by a relapse of pneumonia and died Thursday morning, March 19 at 5:30. He was 78 years of age, and leaves two daughters and three sons to mourn their loss. The funeral was held Friday at 10:30 a. m , Rev. Buckner conducting a short service at the grave. The deceased had made Olathe his home for more than twenty years
