GLADYS M. "SUGAR" BAUMAN 

Memorial services for Gladys M. "Sugar" Bauman, 89, of Kirbyville, Mo., formerly of Olathe, Kan., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Sardis General Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Forsyth Whelchel Funeral Chapel Gladys was born Dec. 4, 1921, at Hammond, La., the daughter of William and Mattie (Bankston) Bennett. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Olathe, and the Sardis Baptist Church of Forsyth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Bauman; her parents; two brothers, John and Clarence Bennett. Survivors include one son, John Bauman of Kirbyville,; two daughters, Vivian McArthur and husband Charles of Kirbyville, and Mary Lou Boehm and husband Gary of Olathe; one brother, Lloyd Bennett and wife Nadine of Ponchatoula, La. Memorials may be made to Sardis General Baptist Church.
