The death of Mrs. Daisy May Barrett occurred at her home on NOrth Chestnut street, November 24, at the age of forty years, following an illness of several months. She is survived by her husband, Frank Barrett, and two daughters Florence Fay Brantley, and Opal Irene Barrett, two brothers, J.W. Hullett of Lenora, Oklahoma, and one sister, Mrs. I.J. Houser of Liscomb, Iowa. 

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon November 27, at two o'clock from the home. Interment was made in Olathe cemetery.
