Mrs. Mary Eliza Bachman, wife of S. F. Bachman, died at her home in this city Saturday morning July 5 and was buried Monday. The funeral services were conducted from the home by Rev. C. C. Bentley of the Christian church. Mary Eliza Carpenter was born at Lancaster, Penn. , December 8, 1831 and was united in marriage to S. F. Bachman 40 years ago. She was a member of the Congregational church and prominent in religious mark. The deceased leaves a husband and an invalid daughter.
