The Life of Clifford Martin Bachman I

Clifford Martin Bachman, 75, of 612 E. 61st Terrace, died Monday at a nursing home at 5900 Swope Parkway. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a cattle speculator at the Kansas City Stockyards more than 50 years before his retirement in 1971. He was a member of the Rockhill Baptist Church. Mr. Bachman was a member of the Livestock Exchange. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Doris Bachman, and a son, Clifford M. Bachman II, both of the home; a brother, Glen Bachman, 3223 E. 8th, and four sisters, Mrs. Bertha McGraw, Tonganoxie, Kan; Mrs. Letha Stewart, Munster, Ind; Mrs Nevlyn Schoning, Galesburg, Ill., and Mrs. Dorothy Remy, 839 Highland. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Newcomer Brush Creek Chapel; burial in the Olathe Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the chapel.
