The Rev. Jesse M. Ayres, 86, Madison, Wis., died Tuesday in Madison. Mr. Ayres was a druggist in Edgerton in Johnson County until 1918 when he left to attend school and became a Presbyterian minister. He had served churches in Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota. 

Among the survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Emmett Schlaegel of Gardner in Johnson County, and Mrs. William F. Goforth, 910 Penssylvania. Graveside services and burial will be at 1:30 o'clock Friday at the Olathe Cemetery.
