The Life of Vera L Anderson

Vera L. Anderson, 83, of Gardner, KS., formally of Springhill, KS., passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Vera was born on April 25, 1929 in Meade, KS., to Noble and Ruth (Rainey) Booth. She was the oldest of four children, where she grew up in Caney, KS. She married the love of her life, Arthur Charles Anderson in 1948. They moved to Springhill, KS., and together they raised their family of two children their son, Arthur and daughter, Teresa. 

Vera is preceded in death by her parents: Noble and Ruth Booth, husband: Arthur Charles Anderson, daughter: Teresa Hinrichs-Orton and one sister: 

Survivors include her son: Arthur A Anderson and his wife Connie of Edgerton, KS., brother: Walter Booth and his wife Jan of Coffeyville, KS. ,sister: Verna Cranor of Cherryvale, KS., along with four grandchildren: Tina Unick (Dan) of Olathe, KS., Cindy Hartford of Olathe, KS., Arthur E. Anderson (Evalyn) of Gardner, KS., and Jeff Hinrichs. Vera is also survived by five great grandchildren: Daniel Jordan Unick, Dalton Unick, Dylan Unick, Casside Hartford and Colton Anderson. 

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at Olathe Memorial Cemetery 738 N. Chestnut St. Olathe, KS.
