The Life of Sarah Elizabeth Alexander

Sarah Elizabeth McDonald was born near Trenton, Ill, December 25, 1841. Died at Bonner Springs, March 1, 1922. She became a member of the first PResbyterian Church when she was 19 years old, and has been a faithful and efficient member since that time. She was united in marriage to Benjamin F. McKee December the 9th, 1859. TO this union five children were born. Benjamin F. McKee died February 27, 1879. She was united in marriage to John A. Alexander January 4th, 1882. Mr. Alexander died February 5th, 1911. She is survived by one brother Sylvester McDonald, Trenton, Ill. and two sons, H.G. McKee of Kansas City, Mo., and George T. McKee of Scammon, and a daughter, Mrs. Lillie Thompson of Bonner Springs. There are also 18 grand children and 20 great grand children and a host of friends.

Mrs. Alexander lived in Olathe on NOrth Pine for a number of years and will be remembered by many residents of Olathe as on of the most courteous and generous women that ever lived.
