The Life of Julia Ann Adair

Mrs. Julia Adair, wife of Austin Adair, died at her home in Pueblo, January 11, 1908. She was bom in Logansport, Ind., and came with her parents to Kansas in 1860, where she resided until five years ago when she moved to Pueblo, Colo., where lived her only child, George Adair. She had about recovered from a broken limb when she took pneumonia and only lived a few days. Her husband being too sick to accompany the remains to Olathe, her son came to fulfill his mother's request to be laid to rest in the family lot in Olathe cemetery. Funeral services were held at the residence of Thomas Adair Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Shedd of the Presbyterian church. She was a devoted wife and mother and has gone to meet her reward.
