William Scott Blanton, 53, of Blue Springs, MO. passed away April 19, 2012. Memorial Services will be held at 11 :00 a.m., Friday April 27, 2012 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home-Olathe. 

William served our country proudly in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was longtime mechanic and owned B & M Automotive in Lenexa, Kansas. Bill was an avid fisherman, enjoyed reading and stayed up to date on all current events. 

He is survived by his children, Scott & Mai of Gardner, KS; 3 brothers, Randy, Steve and Rick Blanton; 7 nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
