The Life of PHYLLIS LYNN WOOD
Phyllis Lynn Wood, 49, passed away November 25, 2015 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 30 at Iles Westover Chapel. Private burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens.
Phyllis was born in Des Moines on June 27, 1966 to Lawrence and Evelyn (Siever) Wood. She graduated from Urbandale High School in 1985. She later worked for JC Penney.
Phyllis is survived by her mother, Evelyn Wood; aunts, Doris (Robert) Johnson, Mollie Bonestroo, and Karen Siever; cousins, Bryan Siever, Kerry Siever, Mark Bonestroo, Craig Bonestroo, and Kevin Johnson; and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.
Phyllis'' family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Comfort Keepers and Taylor House Hospice for the loving care they provided. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in Phyllis'' name.
