The Life of Albert H Krause

Albert H. Krause 1882-1961 Albert Krause was a famous wood carver who resided in Philadelphia. His work includes the ornate wood sculptures at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Drexel Hill, PA. as well as many other churches throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Mr. Krause also carved one of the famous "Wanamaker Eagles." Each store had an eagle and his wood carved eagle stood proudly in the Jenkintown, PA store until it closed.
