The Life of Helen Brenia Wasilewski
Helen Wasilewski, age 78, wife of the late John M. Wasilewski Sr. and resident of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family and friends, at home on Nov. 10. She was born Oct. 13, 1937 in Derby, daughter of the late Henry & Mary Brenia. Helen was a member of The Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church in Ansonia, and worked as a hairdresser for Henrietta's Beauty Salon on Main St. until retirement. She is survived by her son John M. Wasilewski Jr. of Fairfield, grandson John M. Wasilewski III of Manhattan, sister Mary Ann Peden of Ansonia and several cousins, nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 11:00 a.m. at The Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church in Ansonia. Friends may call at church 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before services begin. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family would like to thank The CT Hospice of Branford; Swim Across The Pond; and Dr. Dahjel & Dr. Ianuzzi.
