The Life of ETHEL MAE STEELE
Ethel, 85, was born November 20, 1929, to Joseph and Maggie Barker in Chariton, Iowa. She passed away at Taylor House on October 17, 2015. Ethel enjoyed bowling, sports on T.V., walking, her grandchildren, and her family
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Linda Steele; sons, David Steele, Danny (Linda) Steele, Dale (Deb Harmon) Steele, and Doug Steele; grandchildren, Melissa (Russ) Tobias, Marcella Hokanson, Jason (Lacey) Steele, Logan Steele, and Bailey Steele; great grandchildren, Jacob Hokanson, Jaiden Steele, and Tinley Steele; brother, John Barker of National City, CA; brother-in-law, Elmo Cambruzzi of Joliet, IL and many nieces and nephews. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Merrell “Tink” Steele; daughter, Sheryl Steele; daughter-in-law, Kara Steele; sisters, Edna, Marjorie, Beverly, and Ardyth; brothers, Bernard and Jim.
The family would like to thank Taylor Hospice House for their care and compassion during this time.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2015, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave.
