The Life of Gladys King Aldred
Gladys K. Aldred, age 85, beloved wife of 52 years to Arthur Wm. Aldred, entered peaceful rest on Mar. 17, 2015 at her home.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1929 in Seymour, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Hummel) King. She was a member of Christ Church Quaker Farms in Oxford.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Aldred leaves her loving son, Donald Jones of Orange and his loving daughter, Candy Cleveland and her husband George of Oxford, five grandchildren, Kyle Jones, Kenneth Cleveland, Sara Lucuk, Brian and Katie Cleveland, six great grandchildren, Gunnar, Kenny, Colton, Madison, Sam and Ben and a half brother and half sister, William and Mary King of Seymour. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Angela Cleveland.
A Service of Requiem Eucharist will be held on Thursday, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to Christ Church Quaker Farms, Oxford at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.
