The Life of RICHARD SCOTT BURNS
Richard Scott Burns, 46, of Clive passed away at home on June 10, 2010 following several years of health problems. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
Rich was happiest listening to music, fishing and being with his friends and family. He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou (George) Bandstra of Clive; father, Richard K. (Dixie) Burns of Des Moines; brother, Jeff Burns; grandmother, Mary F. Reed; step sisters, Dana, Deanna and Danelle; uncle, aunts, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter F. Reed, Jr. and grandparents, Rex and Elizabeth Burns.
