The Life of HAZEL MARGARET LUNDBERG
Hazel M. Lundberg, 97, passed away on September 9, 2015, at Ramsey Village in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born September 6, 1918, in Des Moines to Joe and Fannie Hill.
Hazel spent much of her time in the kitchen where she enjoyed cooking and baking. She also enjoyed embroidering tea towels and reading.
Hazel is survived by her daughter, Linda (David) Brightwell; daughter-in-law, Sandy Lundberg; grandchildren, Stacey (Jody) Anderson, David (Sonja) Brightwell, Travis Lundberg, and Denise Lundberg; as well as her great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Lucas, Alexandria, Jacob, and Jared. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Lundberg; son, Mark Lundberg, and two brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue, Des Moines. The family will receive visitors prior to the service at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
