The Life of Henry G. Guilmette

Henry Guilmette, a former longtime Ansonia resident and husband of 40 years to the late Norma Jean Guilmette, passed in his sleep on Sept. 4 with daughter Marie Guilmette and son in-law Stephen Clukey by his side in Marion, VA. He was born in Fall River, MA on May 23, 1931 to the late George & Rita Cote Guilmette. He is also survived by children Henry G. Guilmette Jr. of Saratoga Springs, NY, Keith W. Guilmette and wife Julie of Bethany, CT, grandchildren Monica Hevessey, Gordon Guilmette & great-grandchild Joey Hevessey and sisters Jeanne Luke of Coconut Creek, FL and Pauline Guilmette of Live Oak, FL. He was predeceased by brother Roger F. Guilmette. Henry was a Korean War veteran and worked at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford for 40 Years. He attended Providence School of Electronics, loved traveling, race horses, and the Red Sox, and was a fan of Tim Tebow. Henry always had a smile on his face and was a loving and generous father to his wife and children. Funeral services will be held at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
