The Life of MARGARET ADELINE ASCHAN
Margaret Adelin Aschan, 79, was born July 29, 1939, in Des Moines and died Wednesday, July 29, 2015.
Margaret graduated from East High School here in Des Moines. She was employed at several places in her career, including Central National Bank and the State of Iowa in the Agricultural Division. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret also loved to visit shut-ins, attending church and spending time shopping.
Margaret is survived by her children, Terry (Peggy) Ascan, Jr., Mark Aschan, Eugene Aschan and Kevin (Mary) Aschan; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Beverly) Sheets; many nieces, nephews and a host of other family and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Terry, parents, Cary and Opal (Buck) Sheets, son, Kent Aschan; great-granddaughter, Casey Aschan-Cox; and brothers, Duane and Marvin Sheets, and Paul Wycoff.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. saturday, August 1, 2015 at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will greet visitors from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday prior to serices at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Margaret.
