The Life of Beersheba London Rhodes

Beersheba “Bash” Rhodes, age 92, wife of the late Sammie Rhodes and Ansonia resident, passed away June 14. She was born in Darlington, S.C. June 19, 1922 to the late James & Beersheba Jones London. She worked for UniRoyal Co. in Naugatuck and for Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford and was a member of the Clinton A.M.E. Zion Church in Ansonia. She leaves her son Lynvert Rhodes of Norwich and 8 grandchildren, Santo (Heather) Rhodes of Meriden, Shannon Rhodes, Dawn Rhodes of California, Shonda Rhodes of Atlanta, & Brian, D''Wayne, Samantha and Sasha Rhodes, all of San Diego & numerous great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son Sammie, daughter Ida, 4 brothers, Henry, Richard, Codozia & Enoch London and 4 sisters, Lottie McPhail, Bessie Thomas, Delia McPhail & Georgiana London.
