The Life of GRACE MAY HAMILTON
Grace Hamilton, 94, passed away on June 5, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born July 30, 1920, in Des Moines to Charles and Minnie Thompson.
Grace was a long-time member of Heritage Assembly of God. She enjoyed crocheting, solving word search puzzles, and was a gifted musician who loved sharing her talents with others.
Grace is survived by her sons, Paul Hamilton and James Hamilton; her daughter, Ruth Ann Young; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Hamilton; son, David Hamilton; daughter, Esther Pryor; and three grandchildren, Danny Hamilton, Rex Alan Pryor, and Patricia Hamilton.
Funeral services will be held at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
