The Life of Anthony J. Sr. Lotto

Anthony J. Lotto Sr., 73, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest on April 30, 2015, while visiting his family in Florida. He was the beloved husband of the late Irene F. Beam Lotto. Mr. Lotto was born in New Haven on Dec. 13, 1941, son of the late Andrew and Carolyn Pedevillano Lotto. He was a lifelong resident of Ansonia before moving to Seymour four years ago. Anthony was employed in the maintenance dept. for the Ansonia Board of Education for many years until his retirement. He is survived by sons, Anthony J. Lotto Jr. of Ansonia and Kevin A. Lotto (Sheri) of Oxford, FL, a daughter, Shari Lotto of Seymour, brothers, John J. Lotto (Rose) of Ansonia, Andrew A. Lotto Jr. of Pompano Beach, FL and Kenneth P. Lotto of Waterbury, sisters, Joanne Evans of Ansonia and Angela Lotto of Pompano Beach, FL, grandchildren Ashley Lotto of FL, Desir’ee Lotto of Naugatuck and Howie Miller Jr. of Ansonia, great-grandson Marc Silveria Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday May 6, 2015, from 4-7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Thursday, a funeral service in celebration of Tony’s life will take place at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Deacon Richard Renker officiating.
